Torins Towers: Rise of Heroes

This game is broken; you can't get past the 3rd step in the tutorial and you can't skip the tutorial. Not recommended. Update: after receiving a notification that the glitch in the tutorial was fixed, I returned to the game. The concept is pretty cool, but there are issues everywhere. This is very much a beta-version game.

Game will never let you get 100% achievements. Crashes constantly and the multiplayer doesn't exits. So yeah after booting the thing over 100 times just tired and board.

You will be expected to hand over cash to the "developers" just for playing the game.[/quote] "Torins Towers: Rise of Heroes" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. This is a very shallow and very dead PvP RTS where you tap on your iPhone screen to buy units (limited to three main soldier types) and tap on your iPhone screen to upgrade your buildings and send your soldiers off to fight other players units. Which is extremely difficult because this has no players. Because it's mobile cash shop trash. There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino…

Torins Towers is a nice little towers game. I like the simplified voices and the cartoon graphics are quite OK on my 4k monitor. It's far away from perfection but I'm really having fun playing it, just give it a try, it's free.
