This game cannot be played as intended.[/quote] This is an extremely badly made turn based tactical combat game with mild RPG elements... if you're thinking this is like the early 1990's CGA game, Kings Bounty, you'd be wrong, it lacks the same depth and the graphics are worse. Yeah, Kings Bounty was CGA and only had 4 colours but this is still worse. So, "Gates to Terra II" is a dead PvP game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! [i]Almost every PvP exclusive game on Steam fails.[/i] Only a tiny proportion of them "go viral". This game failed for many of the same reasons those others fail. The chief of which is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst PvP centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Боевая система достаточно простая, но тактически интересная, особенно когда нужно учитывать сильные и слабые стороны врагов. Графика пиксельная, но выполнена стильно и приятно глазу. Музыкальное сопровождение хорошо дополняет атмосферу игры. Из минусов, иногда интерфейс кажется немного перегруженным, и не все подсказки достаточно информативны. Тем не менее, игра затягивает на долгие часы и оставляет после себя только положительные впечатления. Рекомендую всем любителям стратегий и рогаликов.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the first story of the campaign. The graphics are a little rough, but I grew up on Flash games, so it was more charming to me than anything. The gameplay was super fun and I usually hate strategy games, but I was pleasantly surprised. Don't know if there is a prequel, but I would check that out too. Some visual bugs with interactions on the board but mostly minor hitches. 7/10

Terribe Terrible Game! Even if it is free I hate it! Its basically a cheesy rip off of Langrisser. No one plays it so forget multiplayer. Never mind the bad graphics drawn by an amateur too. Gameplay sucks soooooo bad!! RATING 1/10
