About Tower of Fire: The Sword of Unspoken Misc

Push crates! Attack chickens! Attack more chickens! They're gaining on us, attack the damn chickens!

This cursed, solo-developed Frankenstein of Monkey Island, Chip’s Challenge, Zelda and Power Metal is the bargain-bin D.S. game you missed out on.
  • Completely custom game engine that allows the merciless slaughtering of chickens to be more realistic, fluid and satisfying than ever before.
  • Crate pushing, boulder rolling, lock-and-key puzzles that will melt your brain.
  • Loud, obnoxious Heavy Metal singing every time you do anything of significance that will melt the rest of you.
  • The cheesiest 16-bit guitar soundtrack with major F-Zero vibes.
  • An absurdly funny, unique, and utterly insane story.
  • The world is it’s own super grid puzzle that will melt the melted pile that used to be you.
  • Sharp combat with customisable difficulty
  • Hundreds of secrets, shortcuts, collectables and alternate quests
  • Hidden endings
  • Completely custom retro engine technology
  • 3-5 hours of gameplay in a tiny, tiny, 30mb download
  • Redeem your birthright (maybe)
  • Defeat the Blacklord (even maybier)
  • Probably the only 3D game, engine, art and soundtrack ever attempted by a single person which must be worth a look, right? Did I mention you fight chooks?

When a blacksmith’s birthright is stolen by evil Blacklords, he must draw upon the might of some sword he found..

It matters not that he knows not what any of it is —all he knows is that his new Sword has a power that is apparent and indisputable. Is it the power to slice? To dice, cut things, or be sheathed? He’ll need to find out if he’s to bring the Blacklord to justice. This absurd comedy adventure’s entire game engine, code, art, story, and soundtrack were custom made by one guy to give the look and feel of a missing gem from the early 00’s.It’s full of puzzles, chuckles, and tough combat. Or cruisy combat, if you’d prefer. It’s the perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon or an intense Sunday evening. The new version, The Extended Edition, brings a nearly twice-as-big world with tonnes of extra puzzles, secrets, enemies, jokes, story elements, quality-of-life improvements, movement and combat tweaks, and improvements to graphics and sound.

Played about 30 minutes so far and loving it. The story is creative and the game play is solid. Can't wait to finish it and see how it ends.

Great game, great soundtrack and plenty of smiths. Mostly Morrissey-free too which is always a plus. RECOMMEND.

A kaleidoscopic in-joke metamorphoses into lore quest

A solid Zelda like game with fun dialog and combat that feels better than most indie games on steam. Graphics are like a DS game scaled up to full screen. Has hairband music that for some reason fits the game. Cheaper than fast food, won't leave you with the same regret.
