Train Station Simulator: Together in Japan

I spent a total of 2 dollars on this game, and lemme tell you, this is an alright game, it's kind of a time waster, very grindy to begin with, but eventually you unlock the money cheese strat by having the recycling bin, and recycling a box of 30 green teas for big bux. I don't know if I'd pay full price for this, but I mean if you got a couple of tisim touched friends, and an extra $5 to blow, give it a shot I guess

It's charming, but a little tedious. I had a good time with it. And for the price, I'd say it was worth it.

If you are looking to play this game, chances are you know exactly what you're getting into. Train Station in Japan is exactly what it says on the tin: you get ownership of a disused train station in rural Japan, and you'll work hard to turn it from a rickety wooden platform to a bustling tourist trap rife with amenities. In between upgrades and cleaning up trash, you get to run around completing 'quests' and various small puzzles to spice up the gameplay. Look, it's not GTA6, but you knew that before you clicked on the store page. It's a quaint little management game made by one guy. Yes, it's jank, but it's lovable jank, made by a dev with obvious passion for games. You can play alone, or with friends, and you can finish the current iteration in a leasurely 5 hours or so (even with playing around with different materials and paint jobs for the station buildings like I did). It's pretty, entertaining and scratches that management/building/upgrading itch. There are definitely worse ways to spend $5 and 5 hours of your life, at least this one is fun. Give it a go!
