It's Kairosoft, what's not to love? Final achievement is super grindy, but that's kind of par for the course.2 found this helpful
Developed and published by Kairosoft Co.,Ltd., Station Manager takes the developer's familiar management simulation formula and applies it to the bustling world of railway transportation. Instead of simply constructing buildings, players are tasked with creating a highly efficient and profitable train station that serves both commuters and tourists while evolving into a thriving commercial hub. With its charming pixel-art presentation and easy-to-understand mechanics, the game offers a relaxing yet surprisingly strategic experience that rewards careful planning and creative station design. The gameplay centers on transforming a modest railway stop into a landmark destination by expanding facilities, improving services, and attracting larger numbers of passengers. Every decision contributes to the station's success, from installing practical amenities like seating, vending machines, and information kiosks to adding entertainment venues, restaurants, retail stores, and premium lounges. These additions do more than decorate the station—they improve customer satisfaction, increase visitor traffic, and generate additional revenue. The steady introduction of new facilities ensures that …

So much grind in this game and so.... SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slowwwwww, god I felt like I was playing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ski game that felt exactly just like it. I know these are mobile games but make them enjoyable for PC PLAYERS.
Simple game where you manage a train station. There's not much going on with the trains themselves, it's more about building the stations instead. Overall, this feels mostly like a freemium 'pay to progress' game that got somewhat converted to a single purchase game but many of the old 'make you wait' mechanics still exist (ie: the ridiculously long wait for expanding your platforms). At least you can't really 'go backwards' in this game, there's always forward progress, it's just between 'very slowly forward' and 'slightly faster but still very slow forward' progression during frenzies. Even the 'frenzy' mechanics get mostly wasted because you have to wait for trains to bring you customers during the bonus time and until then, nothing really happens. It is just too slow, grindy, boring, and the game trickle feeds you very little so you're left waiting for resources. In a nutshell, this is the Kairosoft game equivalent of 'Paint Drying' the movie. This is the first Kairosoft game that I have rated down and I have something like 30 of their games with at least 10 ribbons. Only maybe get this one if you really like trains, Kairosoft games, and just want something running in the c…
The game can be played both actively and passively. After initially setting up the station, you can leave the game on the background as you work other stuff, provided that you leave the machine plugged in. Occasionally check back on it however as the flow will be interrupted when customer and station attendant messages arrive. The missions are intended to keep you playing or at least keep the game open daily, so don't be daunted by them. If you complete them then the awards will be sizeable. When transferring from one station to a new station, keep some money available to expand new lines as appropriate. All previously unlocked facilities will carry forward, so there is no need to re-research them.
