Trial of the Gods: Siralim CCG

If you've played FF8 you'll immediately recognise this card game. Except its nowhere near as well done as Triple Triad was. Bigger playfield, more special effects and the Siralim monsters. Unfortunately the lack of polish, especially on the short but badly looped music track, make the asking price laughable and the game simply not worth the time/money.

I just didn't find it to be very engaging for me. You're probably better off playing the card games in Final Fantasy VIII and IX.

Non-shilling TLDR: I've never played "Triple Triad", but I did play a game called "Creatures of Aether"; and I really wanted to play something similar with depth. This game... a creature collecting deckbuilding card flipper gives you so much time to learn and love it and diversify how you play EVERY single time. Buy the game! Long form review after I hit the 24 hour mark.

It was alright. I enjoyed this for about 9 hours which is good for the price.

i own everything from this developer on every platform. I love the concept and the game. I spend more time on the Siralim games though but do not let that fool you as far as my playtime goes. it is a great game made by people who care about their games and the people they make them for. they are worth supporting.

I love it when card games have a story and this one seemed pretty interesting. I also love that the card game is like the card games in Final Fantasy games. I could see myself putting some time into this one.
