About Triste
Triste is a surreal tower defense, with no text or tutorials, designed to feel like a repeating nightmare that disorients you. It’s a relentless torture with no escape.

fun to play but it’s a strange, obscure game5 found this helpful
This game feels like stumbling into a real-life creepypasta. The first time you play it, it is a pretty confusing and overwhelming experience. However, with a little time and experimentation, you will feel yourself improving rapidly. Although this is a grid-based game, it plays more like an autobattler like Super Auto Pets than something like Plants vs. Zombies. Also, even though it's turn-based, you can make the game feel quick and snappy. It's also fairly difficult. The first boss took me several tries, but once I beat it I was roaring with excitement. I'll give this one a soft recommend. Although it's small in scope and has some bugs, it's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. In a way, the jank sort of plays into its creepypasta-like quality.4 found this helpful
