Unmatched: Digital Edition is an adaptation of the critically acclaimed board game, where two (or more) opponents command characters from myth, history, or fiction in a battle for the ages! Have you ever wondered who would win, King Arthur (aided by Merlin) or a sword-wielding Alice of Wonderland? How would Sinbad and his trusty porter fare against Medusa and the three harpies? The only way to find the truth is in battle with a quick game of Unmatched!
What is Unmatched?
Unmatched: Digital Edition is a tactical game where each player commands their hero and sidekick(s), using a unique deck of cards, to defeat their opponent on the field of battle.
The rules are simple. On your turn, take two actions which can be:
- Maneuver: Move your fighters and draw a card!
- Attack: Play an attack card!
- Scheme: Play a scheme card (cards that have a special effect).
What makes the game special is that each hero has a unique deck and ability. Alice grows big and gets small. King Arthur can discard a card to power up his attack. Sinbad gets stronger as he goes on more voyages. Medusa can damage you with just a glance.

A fun game to discover. Runs flawlessly. It is not too difficult to get into and rely on the card you draw. Moving is etremely tactical with the different regions. Never played before this version, but I would buy again. The reboot looks very good compare to OG version. Wow thank you !!! <31 found this helpful
I'm a huge fan of Unmatched, and I love the idea of a digital version—especially now that it's completely revamped and looks amazing! Really looking forward to the next sets, hope we don't have to wait too long for updates.1 found this helpful
Good enough digital version. I bought this so I can practice my physical decks when I have no one to play with physically. Easy to Medium AI tends to be very sloppy, I think only the Hard AI is worth practicing with. Not a lot of online players now but they should ramp up once crossplay is enabled. I hope they get to release other packs/bundles soon! I also hope they won't get too gimmicky with this and just focus on the core gameplay - oh and Unmatched Adventures, should be fun for coop play.1 found this helpful
Feels great. Although it is beta, the game is very smooth and I haven't encountered any bugs so far. I get the same feeling as playing unmatched IRL which is great. The challenges are also quite interesting. Looking forward to adding more heroes to the game.
It's unmatched the boardgame but now it's a video game! It's animated, it's got sounds, it's got cards, you name it and... well it might have it or idk it might not, that's just how things work.
the best boardgame ever. the direwulf relaunch fixed all of the issues :)
