Videonauts is a story-focused adventure puzzle game with horror and supernatural surprises. Story
Coby is invited to a mansion to gander at a large collection of ancient artifacts, along with a small handful of other curious critters. But it soon becomes obvious this is a mansion of many deadly tricks and secrets of unexplained origin. What will happen to everyone as they try to escape? It doesn't look like everyone will make it out alive...Among the collector's ancient artifacts, there seems to be a strange choice... video tapes! The tour guide insists they should never be touched, but why? Our protagonist Coby would rather not find out the secret of these videos, but it looks like he won't have a choice...Features

Edit: This end puzzle makes no sense how am I going to solve a puzzle that I have no clue on what to do. It's like getting a white puzzle sure you can solve it with enough time but it's not fun or rewarding. I had fun through out the game but now the random blocks, little wires that take away your time and take away any fun moment you had with the game and makes you want to rip your hair out. Or maybe I'm stupid or something idk1 found this helpful
*really* cool little game! explores its limited color palette in some visually striking and memorable ways, and has a killer soundtrack. as other reviewers are pointing out, you'll feel right at home if you enjoy classic RPGMaker horror games like Ib, between the puzzle style/difficulty, creepy and macabre but not too intense horror tone, and focus on character interaction. personally, i don't really vibe with "manage your dialogue options over the course of a playthrough to build specific relationships" mechanics, but i still had a great time with the game. and if you're interested in that type of find-the-character-route gameplay? this is a no-brainer for you!
It's an interesting horror puzzle game. It is reminiscent of the RPG Maker games. By which I mean, they do a lot with a little. There are unique puzzles and generally keep you on your toes on what is going to happen next. A nice bite sized story that makes sense once everything falls into place. Definitely worth the price tag.
WHY IS THIS GAME NOT POPULAR? I litterly cant find any let's plays outside of the demo. That needs to change, cause this game is AWESOME! I got attached to the characters really quick and the lore is pretty cool. Sucks that there's no walkthroughs on how to get the other endings though. 10/10 game! Hope more people discover this gem!
Reminds me of 2000s/2010s rpgmaker puzzle/horror games, but with a lot of additional visual flare and that good ol' resnijars charm. The visual style of the characters almost felt directly targeted to me, because it's the exact kinda old internet sorta vibe i REALLY love xP
Amazing RPGMaker esque adventure game with multiple endings and puzzles that hit a very good difficulty overall. It has a fantastic endgame that you must experience! Resnijars have this specific style where they are able to capture cuteness and horror at the same time in ways that accentuate both.
