It's a little like the old-school Resident Evil episodes, but in 2D and without any fighting. A big manor filled with strange mechanisms, locked rooms, documents and a creepy atmosphere. And at the same time an unstoppable enemy is trying to kill you for most of the adventure. There is indeed a story, perhaps not extraordinary, but it fulfills its purpose. In comparison, the general ambiance of the game was greatly made. The soundtrack was effective with its music and every ambient sounds. The art-style is simple but also perfectly adequate. The background is filled with details that contribute to the game's gloomy atmosphere, and sometimes it's also in these details that the solution to a puzzle lies. I really liked the gameplay. And Viviette has a good level design, so exploring to find the next clue/key, or to solve another puzzle to unlock a new part of the manor was very enjoyable most of the time. But the game could have been a bit kinder toward the player. As soon as the game finish its story introduction, you're given a tip to find the lamp, and that's it for all …3 found this helpful

Playable with controller. The game does not guide you at all. I got the good ending by exploring a ton. 4h gameplay. Enjoy.1 found this helpful
Enjoyed this game, I bought a few horror pixel art games as inspiration for my own game and this game has so many good things going for it. And it was done by a small team. Thanks for making this game guys
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to figure out these puzzles without looking up a guide.
