About Wild Indigo Ranch
Howdy cowpoke! You have inherited Wild Indigo Ranch from your uncle, and a new life awaits you in the West! But the frontier isn’t always as idyllic as you hear in the stories. Grit Corp has sinister plans for turning the prairie into a profit-making machine. Work together with the townsfolk of nearby Tumbleville to right wrongs and restore Wild Indigo Ranch to its former glory.
For a prudent cowboy, resources need not be scarce on the prairie. Gather straw to craft a rope - now you can lasso your first Mustang, though you might want to start slow and catch Rosie the Donkey. A real buckaroo needs a six-shooter to serve justice and defend themself from local wildlife. If only you knew how to make one.
A cowpoke like you need a place to hang up your spurs after a long day of adventure. Pull up your sleeves, grab your tools, and get to work building the ranch of your dreams. Grow crops and farm the land, outfit your farm with stables, coops, and workshops. Finally, furnish and decorate your new home to your liking - home is where the hearth is.
Play as a lone ranger or team up with up to 3 friends. Work together to gather resources, build the finest ranch in the West, and ride together into the sunset.

I would have given this game a thumbs up if it wasn't for the god awful controls. You get a item bar at the bottom of the screen but you can't scroll with your mouse wheel to any of the items. No you have to click on the numbers 1-9 to activate what you want to use. As a lefty that's a terrible way to play. Closing your inventory, work bench, personal crafting all take different keys, nuts! Total key rebinds for the player would have helped. Finding an item, etc...takes multiple roundabout people you have to contact, items you have to build or find. I'm ok with this but when you cant remember what keys close or open my inventory, etc. its just a chore after 11 hrs. I give up. Wow so close on this one just, i didn't want to give if a negative review but my fellow left handed people beware.2 found this helpful
I just want to play the game. I want to farm, gather resources, craft food to give me buffs, and go around exploring and fighting enemies all while leveling up my dude and crafting better items. But I can't because literally every craftable item and workbench is tied behind a tedious building/crafting quest that is spread across half a dozen NPCs. I spend all my time running back and forth, slowly building stuff to unlock mandatory workbenches and items, all while spamming through the unnecessarily lengthy dialogue that does nothing to improve the game. What makes it unplayable is every quest is dependent on completing other quests or unlocking recipes that are only available to buy after completing, you guessed it, other quests. I think this game might get good after 30+ hours when you have most basic stuff unlocked, but I am not going to bother at this point.2 found this helpful
It's an atrocious dialogue simulator, which is unskippable. This is the very first game I am going to refund, who in their right mind thought this was a commercially viable product is beyond me. These people at Funday Games need a wake up call on how they look at their customers2 found this helpful
I got 2/3 of the way into the game and really enjoyed it but now encountered a bug that prevents me from getting g any further. The game doesn’t allow you to go back to prior saves so I essentially have no choice but to start the entire game over. Bugs like this are so frustrating and turn an otherwise great game into an incredibly frustrating experience. I looked up a number of supposed fixes and none have worked. This is so frustrating and makes me regret ever having bought it. I’m incredibly mad and disappointed and this complete soured my experience on a game I really enjoyed up until now.1 found this helpful
A true survival game that places you in an old, wild west setting. Learn to craft things to benefit yourself and the people you meet. Dying sets you back to your last spawn point with only the items in the bottom row of your backpack, so you don't loose everything, but the stuff you DO "loose" are placed in a backpack at the spot of your death that you can retrieve everything from. I am playing on PC, and did not use a controller, but it may be more fun that way. I will try it out and update at a later time.1 found this helpful
