In this seventh round of releases, we offer the 1993 release of the first "Winning Post."
This game allows players to experience the romantic life of a horse owner. As an owner, you will interact with trainers, stable hands, and jockeys to raise the best racer you can. With a multiple of races of all ranks, both local and international, horses earn fame and renown until they win the chance to participate in the world's greatest race of all, the "Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe."

This game doesn't have any English language options (outside of a English keyboard option, which you have to control using the mouse, no physical keyboard support), so I had to use Google Translate to get through what I did end up playing. This doesn't really stand the test of time compared to today's Winning Post games, but that's expected from a game from 1993. If you like this, please buy it! Show KOEI that you want Winning Post 9 2022 or earlier in the west! This is probably my favorite horse game, so much so I would've bought Winning Post 9 2022 or something but this is the only Winning Post game available outside of Japan. Thank you KOEI though for even deciding to release this stateside though. That gives me hope :)16 found this helpful
