Solid game. Would really benefit from me being able to skip visual races but im enjoying it so far1 found this helpful
Too random. The races aren't really random, you don't get cheated in those, but the training is too random. If I train, my fitness doesn't get better like it should. If I don't train, my fitness drops because I didn't train. I mean I'm assuming it's random. It might be a bug. Who knows? No-one has posted in the forum for months so it's not like you have an active community or devs here who can sort that out. This did only cost me like two bucks (on sale), so I can't get too mad. But still, just shell out the extra money and get something more comprehensive or get on your phone and pick up the Kairosoft game which is in the same price range as this (I think it's called Pocket Stables).1 found this helpful
Let me start by saying that 90% of the game is a thumbs up/recommend by me. it is simple, but fun, a bit RNG with stats, but still a good easy to learn horse breeding/racing game. there are some things i wish they would change/add, such as different aptitudes for Turf/Dirt races for each horse, as of right now as far as i can tell, there is no difference for track type for horse ability, and i wish they would expand a bit on the breeding aspect, with regards to colors / personalities / stats, but overall it's a good fun simple game..... the reason i am not recommending this game, is because as of the last time i played the game (May 2026), once you start getting to year 10+ of a career, the game starts lagging horribly. from what ive read from the dev, it's because the family tree / stats / history starts bogging down the system the farther in you go, but what happens is menu/transitions/loading begins taking upwards of 30sec - 3min for everything you do. When that gets fixed, I will happily change my review, but at this point, there is no late game, because unless you sell/pasture ALL your horses, you can't get to the point where you can get a horse that is triple crown worthy, b…
I have become kind of obsessed with this game. I was looking for a horse game that had breeding and competitions without the added fluff of grooming the horse and making you ride the horse yourself and such, I saw this one in the Horse Fest event and decided to try it. It's hard because it seems to be part user influence and part RNG, so you have to hope you did everything right and also get lucky, but it's easy enough to not make it horribly frustrating (except when you are forced to watch your horse come dead last). Anyway, this will definitely be a game I keep coming back to.
First time ever playing one of these games (unless you count Rival Stars - which I don't.) I've had a ton of fun and have admittedly, gotten lost in the game. No g1 winners (yet!) but gameplay loop is addicting. Uma but w/o the money. Very cheap game, and would heavily recommend it. Will be looking to pick up possibly Starter Order's later!
A very enjoyable lite sim that engages and kills time. I'm a big sim gamer, and a lot of times they are really time-consuming. This is a great quick and easy game that is great for killing an hour or playing while listening to a podcast etc. Sell worth the price.
