About World Leader Card Game
Inspired by much older card games like magic the gathering, and Yugioh, World Leader Card Game (WLCG) seeks to engage the player, by giving them a set of cards that they need to utilize in order destroy their opponent's life bar. However, in those games, you would have some sort of mythic and/or fantastical creature/monster created by a writer; in this game, you take control of a real-world creature/monster, who in-fact used to be our governed leaders. WLCG offers 35 of the hundreds of 20th-century world leaders for the player to utilize to victory. Additionally, while playing the player will have the option to just hover their cursor over a card and get a brief bio on the person.

"World Leader Card Game" is a laughably bad failed attempt at making a for-profit "card game" created by stealing a bunch of photos off Wikipedia for various world leaders. I think they were hoping this would "go viral" or something? It's a bug riddled train wreck. It's obvious why this was such a failure. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $1 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. incredibly broken and so fragile using the menu is enough to hardlock the game, and couldnt figure out the games logic for the life of me, very realistic 10/101 found this helpful

Игра "World Leader Card Game" — остроумная политическая пародия. Карты с карикатурами лидеров и их скандальными цитатами вызывают и смех, и лёгкий ужас. Геймплей простой, но весёлый: набираешь очки, используя способности персонажей, и создаёшь абсурдные коалиции. Отлично подходит для нетривиальной вечеринки.
