GoGDoD is a strange and experimental deckbuilding game that feels completely unconcerned with fitting into the conventions of traditional card battlers. Developed and published by WAP, the game combines survival mechanics, unpredictable card effects, dark humor, and bizarre themes into an experience that constantly feels chaotic in both presentation and gameplay. It is clearly an indie project with rough edges, but there is also a noticeable sense of ambition behind the madness. Instead of trying to imitate polished mainstream strategy games directly, GoGDoD embraces its weird identity and builds an experience around unpredictability, risky decision-making, and unconventional mechanics. The gameplay revolves around assembling decks from different categories of cards, each serving unique purposes during battles. Character cards form the foundation of most strategies, while enhancement and disruption cards dramatically alter the flow of matches. Much of the challenge comes from understanding how these different effects interact with one another over long survival-oriented runs.
