Wound Man

This game reinvents jigsaw puzzles and teaches anatomy at the same time. The visuals are impeccable and the puzzles are usually pretty intuitive, including the secrets. The starter puzzles are consistently beginner friendly, but they can get tedious if you're looking for 100%. The expert puzzles can vary in difficulty quite a bit, yet most of them find fun ways to reinvent the puzzle. For example, a few puzzles remove the guide image entirely, and use a target as a hot-or-cold indicator of where pieces should go. Overall, it's worth trying out if you love jigsaw puzzles and aren't squeamish.

One of the most fun and unique puzzle games I've played in a long time. It's Gross, Interesting, Funny, Informative and even gets a little emotional towards the end. I was not expecting a story to unfold as you complete the puzzles but it was a pleasantly suprised, and that kept me playing to see where it was going. You can tell the devs put a lot of heart into this and I couldn't recommend it more if you love these types of puzzle games.

welp didn't think i would spend this long on this game

This game has the feeling of old flash puzzle games in the best way--a little obscure, but extremely satisfying. The writing is sharp but full of feeling, surprisingly wistful and evocative for a puzzle game. I love the use of real historical illustrations, and L O V E that there is a built-in feature to see where they were sourced from. From one looker-atter of facsimiles of 16th century manuscripts to another, thank you! The art style is distinctive and beautiful, the writing and story are short but (very) sweet and complex, the puzzles are satisfying, and the Cabinet of Curiosities is a great way to keep track of progress. If you enjoy medieval history, art history, medical history, clever puzzles, doomed romance, and dark humor, you will enjoy Wound Man. It's a great game.

(my eh key is broken prdon the review) wound mn is eh very unique gme, with it mostly being bout medivel wound mns which is topic i didnt even know existed. the mcbre jigsw style is lso quite enjoyble, nd it cn be hrd t times but it still gve me eh whole dy nd eh hlf of fun, with secret puzzles nd new things still dropping every so ofton, nd i pprecite the hrd work tht ws tken to mkem this mster peice. i highly recommend plying if you re looking for eh new experience with how chep the gme is in generl.

Wound man was extremely satisfying to play. The puzzles are challenging. The layering of puzzles and challenges make a nice variety. The history is interesting and the images are fascinating.
