I really enjoyed the way the puzzles were actually relevant to the story. My only gripe is that it was too short. like very very short but still a cute game.
This game was my a part of my childhood, so this may be a biased review. I love the steampunk vibe, the details in imagery, and the concept of the story. The only critique I have is the fact that the pacing is a little fast and I feel there are some plot holes, but other than that I really enjoy the game. I played it on windows 11 64 bit, so I am not sure why it does not work for others on windows 10.
Interesting story to follow, rather steampunk in style and not bad if you like searching for items in a picture.
Not a game for playing on a high resolution display. Many of the objects to be found are absolutely tiny, and impossible to recognise. While I will continue to struggle through it, this is not what I would call a 'fair' hidden object game. On the positive side, some of the accents are hilarious.
This game has aged badly with inferior resolution by current standards. Some items are difficult to make out and it can be difficult sometimes finding the correct pixel to click to locate some items. Became stuck at the end of chapter 2 crashed zeppelin scene wanting a brass fireplace stand that could not be located - and the hints do not show the location (no magnifier appears). Unfortunately none of the walkthroughs I have located list this item so there is no way to proceed further in the game short of restarting and hoping not to get this item again at the same point. Second run through this time caught out on the jigsaw puzzle puzzle at the end of the first section. Initially two pieces missing but found one on the edge of the screen other never found but at least i was able to skip this puzzle on this playthrough. Ok made it through the second time but did find other issues where the hints (help/mechanics) of the game did not work correctly.
This is the most beautiful and intriguing steampunk style Victorian era game that I have ever played! Very fun!
