What Steam players say

Players are deeply divided on this weirdcore experiment. Fans praise its authentic and genuinely confusing aesthetic that captures the genre's intentional lack of sense, though even they acknowledge navigation issues. However, most players encounter significant technical problems like unplayable boot screens and poor UI, while others find the deliberately obscure design frustrating rather than compelling, criticizing weak gameplay mechanics, abrasive audio, and a story that prioritizes being unsettling over actually engaging the player.
i waited like 5 minutes in the boot screen and nothing has happened, idk if my computer is too much of a potato but i just got bored of waiting1 found this helpful
Cant play the game it just puts me on a weird screen where there are no buttons1 found this helpful
I can't play it! Which is a shame. I just can't get past the third level because the door that's supposed to take me to the next is placed wrongly and leaves me off the plate, making me fall into the void and instantly die with no way of trying to fall on top of the plate. Aside from that, it's so laggy, full of bugs, the controls take ages to work, the text is unreadable. But the idea is very cool. I wanted to like this, but I can't play it! I'll probably try it again later, when I get less irritated after falling 6 times to my death, but for now, that's it.
unplayable bro what is this
It has me stuck in a "NaN%" boot up screen
What took me in was the creative visual design, this eerie aesthetic. Abstract, even. I’ve played this game for a few minutes, and at this point I genuinely have no idea what this mess is even supposed to be. Confused, I braced myself to keep going, but instead of getting intrigued, I just got more irritated.
It feels like a 3D Pony Island an analog horror walking simulator with way too much “freedom” and somehow no checkpoints. The unplayable game engine looks awful. There are basically no abilities. The UI and UX are nowhere near as clever as the game thinks they are. Devs will make sure you will have an earrape. The story with it's characters are absurd. It tries so hard to be unsettling, artistic, and “deep” that it forgets a game still has to be engaging.
Was it worth any amount of time, even for free?
Nope.
What’s actually unsettling is that this feels like pure Gen Alpha horror. Brain-fog aesthetics inspired by endless TikTok doomscrolling, mistaken for psychological depth. I don't think this game will be better in any time soon.
