Alright, so.. to begin with, I’m a huge fan of Chris Danelon’s games, and The Indigo Parallel is one of my all-time favorites. I still replay it from time to time because it is genuinely comforting for me - it’s basically my outlet, really. However, this one (despite being a completely different genre) feels surprisingly cheap which is even more frustrating considering it is the most expensive of the three games. The gameplay loops to grind, kill, collect.. repeat. After about half an hour, a pretty obvious question comes up: is it really worth it? Unfortunately, I have to say no. It quickly becomes monotonous and boring and it is much better to play Absolute Insanity made by the same developer.

I love it! very spooky without being so terrifying that you haft to play with the lights on, a genuine improvement from the last game and some really interesting lore!

This game is pretty good, to be honest. Sometimes the player gets stuck in weird places but I can overlook that simply because the game loop is fun.

Look at my play time. This is one of the worst games I have ever played. It has so much potential. So many things need to be fixed before this game can stop being excruciating to play. HIGHLIGHT THE ITEM THE PLAYER IS HOVERING OVER. This above all else, I am so tired of picking up the wrong item. Stop spawning zombies after a certain amount has been reached. Show a hint to when your weapon is close to breaking. Show a hint to where your object will be thrown. Make objects snap to conveyor belts the way they snap to slots. Add a visual map. Make different areas of the levels more distinct so it is easier to find your way. There are, of course, many other things that could make this game more fun and interesting, (more music, more set pieces, more aquatic life, a ledge grab, swimming, check points) but the most important are above. This is a broken game that needs more love put into it. I think this game has some hidden magic inside that could make this an extremely fun game loop, but it is buried in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Please fix this game!
