Players enjoy the zombie shopkeeper premise and core mechanics, praising it as a fun and quirky take on shopkeeper sims with an engaging story. However, common complaints center on UI/UX issues (unclear progression systems, poor clarity on item requirements), pacing problems (dirt and zombie transformation happen too fast, limited daily progression), detection mechanics that feel unfair, and a lack of content depth that leaves players finishing in just a few hours. The game shows promise but needs polish, clearer feedback systems, and difficulty options or gameplay adjustments to extend replay
So... its a cool concept. fun idea, fun characters, however my main struggle with playing it is AI. the text in the game feels very akin to it, and ive seen others mention it has Ai images. Atop that, the mechanics feel janky. namely chopping and bagging- it's as though they were barely tested to begin with. it doesnt register when your trying to cut chicken carcasses specifically, having to spam click on the final cut just for a chance for it to work. mix that with the fact crafting benches have a stack size of 20 units, while the player inventory has a size of 10 makes it very difficult to work with. I want to love this game, but the lack of polish and use of ai ruin it for me. apologies.1 found this helpful
The game is fun enough, though the slicing mechanics can be a little finicky and I'd struggle to cut the meats with the knife. Though once you get the sawblade upgrade, this becomes a non-issue. I wish there were more objectives to complete and more things to work towards. The main objectives are basically gather a certain amount of money 3 times, then you make a decision of little value and the game abruptly ends. Once you get all the upgrades, there really isn't much left to do outside of finishing the game or completing orders for the fun of it. I didn't even find the need to unlock more than 1-2 rooms in the shop. Overall a fun time, but short lived. Once you figure out the main gameplay loop, you realize there isn't much more, I really wish there were more objectives. Oh also, if your game stutters, disable V-sync. This is an issue that sometimes happens with Unreal Engine 5. EDIT: Just noticed that dev announced earlier today that an endless mode is coming soon. I don't know what they might be adding to the game, but it might be worth keeping an eye on. Maybe they'll add more stuff which would take care of my biggest complaint. Very fun, only wish I could change some keybinds but I think have yet to be added. Beside that highly recommanded!1 found this helpful
Really good game, very entertaining, funny plot. The tutorials are a bit vague and sometimes (for me) didn't appear until after you would have completed what the tutorial was for but you can get through it with trial and error. Really immersive experience.
its like a cozy creepy game. i love it :3
This lags so much. Sometimes the controls work and then it just freezes. Then when you can get the controls to work, its so sensitive and bugs out again. Honestly disappointing because i really been wanting to play this and i feel like i just wasted my money.
