ZOMBUTCHER: Monster Business Simulator

I loved the concept, so I really wanted to like the game, but... Gameplay: Everything felt really clunky and cumbersome to do. Half the time your actions aren't registering properly until you run your mouse over the screen several times - cutting meat, grinding meat, putting together trinkets, etc. When you unlock the "automatic" tools designed to help you along, they help you by exchanging the painful mini game with... another slightly less painful mini game. The esc button does nothing half the time. You would expect it to exit you out of build mode, exit out of all menus, etc. Instead, I've had to manually click the X to exit for most things. When you try to sweep around a customer, the game registers that as hitting them and you die. Gameplay is in serious need of a QoL update. Audio: Please equalize the sounds. Some of the demons (skull + evil labubu) are LOUD, especially when they're pounding at the door or growling through it. I played at 40% volume and everything else sounded fine until my ears were shattered by their appearances. Second biggest complaint is the automatic meat grinder, which is both loud AND plays an annoying nuke sound when it's done until yo…

(edit) Just seen on the discord they are abandoning the game to make a new one. Thats a loss from me. To leave a game unfinished and still sell it blows my mind and I cant support that. I recommend getting this on sale and just enjoying what you can. The game can definitely be fun. Is it made with AI? Who cares if you enjoy the game? I don't have time to cry over something that doesn't really matter. Pros: -The game is actually quite fun. -It's a good way to pass the time. -Plenty of gore. -You get to shove a suction tube up some butts... lol. Cons: -It misses out on a lot of humor because of the spelling errors. For the farmer, they were clearly going for a hick accent, but they spelled so many words incorrectly that it's almost impossible to read. -There are quite a few bugs. I was being chased by the cops, and they caught me while I was hiding in a dumpster. They glitched out and kept repeatedly telling me to get out of the dumpster. The only way I could fix it was by slapping a cop in the mouth. Honestly, it was a satisfying fix. -Somehow, I was also duplicating bodies. The game is very buggy when leveling up. Cant craft items because of glitches. Cant sell items because the developers took items out of the game. Over all trash game. Stay away unless you want to level up and freeze or cant craft items because the development team cant push out fast updates on this game. The people that created this game are all out for a cash grab I am very disappointed. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONET.

I think that this game has a lot of potential but I kept getting frustrated because I would die from the cops about every 10 minutes. Sometimes from hitting people when I'm just trying to mop, and sometimes I had no idea what I did. When you die, you restart the day, and I could hardly progress the game. If the mopping/arrest situation was better, I think I'd give it another shot :/

Amazing game, it's a shame there are SO MANY bugs. Still enjoyed it a lot. Ps: the version I played had already the latest update Bugs I came across: - if you trap more than 2 people inside your store they will run away through the wall, remaining only 2 people. - the pounding on the door sound kept playing during all day when there was no monster knocking. - the picked up item disappeared instead of going to the inventory - a tutorial on how to crawl shows up everytime you need to crawl under a specific fence
