Zombie Season is an abandoned Early Access 3D rendered VR exclusive wave survival zombie shooter with approximately -20 originality combined with -80 implementation quality. Let's go over this dumpster fire to understand why the developer abandoned this train wreck. The game features low poly art instead of contemporary, hi-res/UHD tier assets, textures and visuals. Why? Lack of talent, or budget, or both. Why should this inadequacy become a burden that PC gamers be forced to accept? Ah yes, we don't have to. The technical implementation here is simply below acceptable standards. This seems to have been made a VR exclusive to prevent any comparison with non-VR 3D games, a contest that this game would fail very badly at. Developers must learn that while VR is great, if the only thing that makes the game great is the VR, then the game isn't great at all. Imagine a game so bad that it was made VR exclusive, in the hopes that would prevent people playing it and comparing it to professionally developed games. [h1] How ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dare you [/h1] I'm offended that you would expect anyone to buy an Oculus. This is a crime, want some feedback, please nobody program for the Zucc and his metaverse. Metaverse deeze nuts more like it. For real though, I think the best thing for these VR games is to start by making their software compatible with open-source hardware/software. This would allow for a larger range of people to be able to access these types of games. Sure it's pretty generic. It's made worse that for all the setting up, and all the preparation, this game is kinda bare bones, it feels like a student project. Like my whole thing is, if you're doing a student project, by all means, it's probably not going to be great, but it really could be. And if it's not great, why risk the publication and promise of continued development? Like with this game it's just confusing especially seeing how this game seems to be abandoned at this point. 3 months having passed back in February of 2020.
