Is God of War worth it on PC?

God of War was a PlayStation showcase before it arrived on PC — and the port turned out to be excellent. If you missed it on console, here is whether it is worth picking up now. For most players, absolutely.
What it is
A reinvention of the series as a slower, more personal story: Kratos and his son Atreus journey across a stunning Norse world. It blends weighty, satisfying combat with genuine emotional heft and some of the best production values in gaming.
How the PC version holds up
The port is one of the better ones out there — high frame rates, proper graphics options and broad hardware support, so it runs well even on mid-range machines. If you have been on the fence about PlayStation ports, this is a great example of them done right.
The verdict
It goes on sale regularly and drops to very fair prices, which makes an easy recommendation a no-brainer. Check the current price against the all-time low on its game page.
