Shiro (VA: Ikumi Hasegawa) "But now that you're here, it'll probably be fine! Yes!"A maid who loves Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. A huge otaku for anime and video games, she talks really fast when she’s gushing about the things she loves, and often splurges on merch without thinking whenever she visits an anime shop. A little clumsy, but works hard every day to become the cute maid she’s always wanted to be.Ikumi Hasegawa - Notable Roles: Masaki (Mayonaka Punch), Lene Aurousseau (I'm in Love with the Villainess), Ikuyo Kita (Bocchi the Rock!), Vladilena Milizé (86) Miyu (VA: Ayasa Itou) "Thanks for hanging out with me today, Manager! ☆"A game otaku and gyaru with a big appetite. Loves both eating and cooking, and apparently really enjoys serving her cooking to customers at Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. Is actually Shiro's friend on the online game Magic Angel, so they knew each other before actually meeting in real life.Ayasa Itou - Notable Roles: Angelico Fra (Delico’s Nursery), Kaoruko Hanayagi (Revue Starlight), Arisa Ichigaya (BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!) Favna (VA: Sayumi Suzushiro) "I am the Slayer of the False God, the Queen of the Kingdom of Darkness, the All-Seeing Oracle, the Guardian of All Dreams—"A mysterious girl dressed in gothic Lolita fashion. Speaks in riddles and demands the protagonist become her familiar. She sometimes accidentally drops the edgy act when she's taken by surprise though, so maybe she's just got a serious case of chuunibyou...?Sayumi Suzushiro - Notable Roles: Ayako (The Elusive Samurai), Nijika Ijichi (Bocchi the Rock!), Satono Crown (Uma Musume Pretty Derby), Kylie (The Magnificent Kotobuki) Honoka (VA: Yui Ishikawa) "Ya want a thrivin' business? That there sounds like a job for our shrine!"A girl with a Kansaiben dialect who works as a shrine maiden at her family shrine. Practically in charge of the shrine, she is reliable and very good at handling money! Is actually a doujin author...?Yui Ishikawa - Notable Roles: Elise (Doctor Elise), Saku Fukuzawa (The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today), Violet Evergarden (Violet Evergarden), Mikasa Ackerman (Attack on Titan) Fuwa Fuwa Cafe—a maid cafe tucked away in a quiet part of Nipponbashi, and where a wonderful encounter is about to take place...You, the protagonist, quit your job at an extremely toxic workplace and find yourself at a run-down maid cafe, where a cute maid named Shiro works. At first, you only agree to become the new manager because it conveniently met all your urgent needs, but soon the colorful maids Miyu, Favna, and Honoka join in. And as you spend time with them and meet the people of Electric Street, both you and the cafe will gradually liven up once more. As the manager of Fuwa Fuwa, you’ll live in Nipponbashi, Osaka and spend time with your favorite maid... or maids. Go shopping, watch a movie, go for karaoke, buy a present for a special someone... What you choose to do will affect the ending of the story. Of course, you want to always be doing what's best for the cafe. So maybe you should do something about the ominous voices coming from the shrine next to the cafe, or you could get the whole town involved in a large-scale campaign to bring in even more business. All sorts of events await you and the maids! Your most important job as the manager is, of course, to manage the cafe and the maids. It's a little harder than it sounds!First, you’ll have to allocate work to your maids. Shiro loves serving customers, and Miyu’s a great chef... Make sure each girl is assigned the right job! While the cafe is open, you can help out by serving customers and cheering the maids on with your special skill. And with your hard-earned money, you can go shopping, eat out, or buy merch or capsule toys for your otaku collection.Make Fuwa Fuwa the most popular cafe in town to enjoy Nipponbashi to the fullest!Sometimes, special customers will visit Fuwa Fuwa. Pay attention to their needs and serve them the perfect coffee! You can find coffee recipes hidden all around Electric Street, and the customers will drop hints as to what they're looking for in your conversations.Explore the town, collect recipes, and serve the drinks of your customers’ dreams, and maybe one day they might offer you their service as well...?Visit stores you can find in the real Nipponbashi, such as Surugaya, Sofmap, Dragon Star, Super Potato, and Karaoke Rainbow, among the many others we've collaborated with. You can collect merchandise of other indie games too, such as VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, GNOSIA, and Marfusha!Go shopping, see the sights, and enjoy life in otaku heaven. But don't stay out too late; you still have a cafe to run!And though it's fun to go out on your own, you could always ask one of the maids to go out with you. Uh, not go out go out... unless?Maid Cafe on Electric Street — game info

Maid Cafe on Electric Street has charming artwork and a relaxing slice-of-life atmosphere that some players find appealing, but most agree the core gameplay loop is repetitive and tedious, with a bland story frequently interrupted by shallow café management mechanics that never evolve. The visual novel structure feels watered down compared to the genre, and reaching completion requires multiple playthroughs of the same monotonous tasks, making it a game that might appeal primarily to those who value aesthetics and atmosphere over engaging gameplay.
The game can be fully experienced within the first few hours of the game, the restaurant mini game doesn't get anymore difficult or interesting and is a major chuck of the gameplay. Take order, deliver order, get money and that's it. All while using directional keys with just one button for everything. There is also a bug if you take the dishes at the same time as the maid, you are stuck there until the next dish appears. After the restaurant day is over, sometimes you have no energy and you just have to go to bed to start the next day again. All the quest in the game are basically visit location X, Y and Z with one of the maids and there is no other type of quest. The story is practically non-existent and is very slice of life, including all the boring parts. There isn't many issues or problems/conflicts encountered in the day of life, to make the story more interesting. The ending was extremely underwhelming. Dialogue and maids are alright and are fully voiced by voice actors, which is pretty cool. Every other NPCs well... feel like NPCs, no real interaction, just shops and looping generic scripts. The stores are cool, but once explored once it becomes very mundane very quickl…9 found this helpful
I really like how this game looks but that's pretty much all it has going for it. If you see the art and buy it for that, by all means it's worth it and I enjoy the trading card collecting/gacha machine lol. The story is very basic. If you have seen any harem anime ever it's pretty much a watered down version of that. Also u are an adult and these girls are pretty much all teenagers? One maybe isn't but you can date all of them and get cgs of them in underwear? Not crazy ig for anime but like, it's not helping lol. It's a super long and repetitive VN though and although I rly love the environments and art I can't in good conscience genuinely recommend this game.5 found this helpful
the story is incredibly bland and is constantly interrupted by the giant nothingburger that is cafe gameplay. the artstyle is really cute tho.1 found this helpful
Developed by Adventurer's Tavern and published by PLAYISM, Maid Cafe on Electric Street is a delightful blend of visual novel storytelling, café management, and slice-of-life simulation that succeeds by delivering a comforting experience rather than an action-packed adventure. Set in Osaka's iconic Nipponbashi district, the game follows a protagonist who escapes an exhausting corporate job only to unexpectedly become the manager of the small but struggling Fuwa Fuwa Cafe. From that simple premise grows an engaging story about second chances, meaningful friendships, and rediscovering happiness through ordinary moments. Instead of overwhelming players with demanding mechanics or constant urgency, the game embraces a calm pace that encourages exploration, relationship-building, and gradual progress, making it an inviting experience for anyone looking to unwind. The narrative is undoubtedly the heart of the game. Every maid working at the café has her own personality, aspirations, and emotional struggles, making them feel like genuine individuals instead of one-dimensional character tropes. Spending time with each member of the staff gradually reveals their backstories, allowing the r…1 found this helpful
it's a nice game, nice art and music but a little tedious to complete 100% i didn't cared for the perfect ending i'm happy with miyu's ending and having collected all secret maids for the cafe.
Would rec getting on the sale. Game have a lot of effort put in to it. But a lot of effort doesn't mean great product. This game have a lot of flaw, mainly the repetitive gameplay. Everything else is good but as a game you tend to need the gameplay to make up for everything else. The plot is serviceable , basically Stardew with anime girl and a maid cafe. Gameplay is , well , there. It exist to push the plot forward. Which is acceptable. Until you find out that to get all the ending you need to play multiple playthrough to get everything else. Do everything over and over. For some it will be good enough cause they have done a very good job on building the world and everything in it. Enough to make one feel full but not too much to make one feel overwhelm. TLDR: If you can put up with the pretty repetitive gameplay and guessing ♥♥♥♥ till you get a guide. Get the game. I do believe it is a good game but the gameplay holding it back a good bit. Also Shiro best girl
