You play as the young nephew of Uncle Lou, a pilot who went to investigate the cause of a massive storm and never returned. The storm also disrupted the delivery lines connecting the islands of a tropical archipelago inhabited by humanoid animals. These creatures live and behave much like ordinary people, while you appear to be the only actual human in this world. After creating your character from a wide selection of outfits, colors, and accessories, you begin on the central island. Movement follows the standard platforming formula, allowing you to sprint, swim, climb vines, jump, and double jump. None of these actions consume stamina or energy, so you can run around freely without worrying about exhaustion. You can also swim away from islands, although there is a limit that prevents you from simply crossing the ocean to reach the distant islands you can see. There is no ancient evil or villain threatening the world, and combat is not part of the game. Instead, your main goal is to find your uncle, and help islanders with their problems. You do this by collecting resources and using them to rebuild objects. Resources are gathered with a gun like gadget called the swirler, an…

Lou's Lagoon ✈️ Really fun adventure! Restore Lou's delivery service and get the radio towers working again. Explore a connected world of colorful islands, with creatively designed towns, unusual species, quests, collectibles, and gadgets to upgrade, I especially loved flying the plane and collecting all the prizes in the sky (and the little boats that honk at me!) ^_^ The exploration encourages going off the path... jump on bushes and rocks, and you might wonder "Am I supposed to be here?" lol. Then there's a chest waiting for you, or you realize YES, this strange little route was actually intended! It felt distinct from other games, and I would 100% play it again! And uh...THE BEST sheep/wool extractions of any game!! 🐑💚 TIPS: ⏱️ 1 day is about 25 minutes. 🏃 Toggle sprinting ON in settings! 🗺️ Speak to everyone! 🔧 Upgrade your Gadgets to Teir 2-3! Swirler, Scooper, Builder, Glider, Fishing rod. 💰 Gadget upgrades can cost $85,000 to $99,000 Shells EACH x_x Best way to earn money? Quests until they run out... Sell Golden Potatoes...🌪️ destroy the 4-5 floating prizes in the storm 450 Shells ea! 🐑 Looming Crystal Wool from Bouldaria sells for $1,500 ea.…

It reminds me of the old games that we used to explore maps and world, and I love the swirler! I don't feel that I'm being a 'slave' for fixing the islands at all, and this game is just so lovely with the animations, the very detailed models, and I'm loving the game already! My livestream: Youtube I'm looking forward for more playing to go!

Lou's Lagoon is a fun game that will take around 20 hours to complete. The gameplay loop is to gather ressources them, refine them into something more complex and build things with your more intricate components. You'll embark on a fun adventure allowing you to create your character and explore islands and their inhabitants. As you progress through the story you will help clean and restore the islands that have been ravaged by a storm. One quirk that I like of this game is that every ressources have a positive twist to them, you are not hunrting the environment and the animals, you are helping them by collecting the ressources. The overall vibe is colourful, wholesome and stress free.

Did i Like this game? sure. Is it great game? .... ehhhh i would say "pretty good" but still far from "great" Do I recommend it? ... i would say yes, but with a few warnings. The game has an absolutely beautiful and colorful art direction, with lovely characters and a quite simple and straightforward story, coupled with nicely written dialogues. But there are still some issues that prevent the game to go from "pretty good" to "great" : - countless little bugs that are not at all progression breaking, but rather mild inconveniences. (thankfully the team seems quite listening to the community feedbacks) - the exploration and notably the "flying" part of the game feels a bit... underwhelming. some additional, more varied challenges or more looting options from the open world map would have been welcome. - finally, my biggest concern : the pacing of the game is quite impacted by real issues, notably by all the loading screens, and worst of all : the crafting system. - The biggest issue with the crafting system is that some late-game items take an insane amount of time and ressources to craft, which is... not that much of a problem if you just focus on the main story, …

I don't know what to say...i love the artstyle and just few other things like the exploration, flying challenges and the main story missions (the LOU's quest). This game is not really for me, too much based on crafting and gathering resources. I was hoping it was more like a platform adventure with flying and just a little bit of crafting. But even the platforming is not that great. The best parts like i said are the main mission, exploration and the flying challenges. To me everything else drag this game down, basically all of the missions are heavy craft based, and when you repair the communication towers you unlock fast travel...why the plane is even here? Basically you don't need it anymore. After that is just a crafting game and quite boring with all those receipts and those waiting times...Why do we have to wait like that? This game to be succesful should have been focused on the flying, delivery, platforming and maybe combat against pirates like in those few sections in Lou's quest. Seems also that the developers wanted a long big game, but i would have preferred a short one. 5 to 6 hours at max and 10 to 15 to complete everything. i'm at 20 hours and don't want to comple…
