Rogue Blight

It really is what it says on the cover - a neat soulslite that plays like Salt and Sacrifice on a Slay the Spire map. With meta-progression and all, minus the deep lore. This one is suitable for the casual audiences... and people like myself who had beaten all of Souls games and more, yet still suck at them. Snappy and straightforward, Rogue Blight is well-made at the very least. It plays fine, too. Exemplary visual clarity and fair telegraphs deserve to be noted, just don't expect a fancy moveset or crazy builds. It's a humble game whose overall variety was just enough for 7 or so hours I devoted to it. Yeah, the story mode is quite short, though you can stay for the achievements, I guess. I think CodeRad sacrificed a greater ambition for execution, which is often the only right tactic when you're just starting. Here, you pay a few bucks to get a few hours of rather addictive fun. I consider it a fair deal. The game left me content, not exalted, so it isn't my strongest recommendation, but not everything has to be the new best thing, being simple and pretty is okay. Slay the Spire as a Beat-em-Up/Fighting Game. Love it.

Great little dark souls/slay the spire hybrid. Combat is surprisingly responsive and build variety seems decent. Could use some alternate bosses but not expecting slay the spire variations for a ten dollar game. Definitely recommend for souls and roguelite fans
