Pet Shop Simulator

While this game looks cute, there's a few issues I have with it. It's not very similar to most other simulation games, which isn't a huge problem but it definitely effects the gameplay. 1) You play employees by the hour rather than by day or week. That means you're losing roughly 200-300 dollars an hour times however many employees you have. This obviously means you're going to be losing money a lot faster 2) Products are priced high to start with, leaving little room for improvement. Makes it to where buying better products isn't really worth it. 3) The products are also expensive to purchase, being anywhere from 50 to a couple hundred for a single item. This makes buying in bulk and stocking shelves difficult. 4) The stocking shelves feature is weird and can be difficult to use. It's a scanner that you use to scan the shelf, and then you choose whether or not to stock the entire thing or just one shelf before choosing a product. It's also the same way for taking products off the shelf. It's just an odd way of doing it rather than manually stocking via a box like most simulators. 5) Helping customers is annoying. They can appear with question marks above their head, and will ask …

cute concept, janky controls. buttons dont always work

Pet Shop Simulator is an empty shell of a management game, offering almost zero content wrapped in a brutal, sluggish grind. For a title dedicated to pets, the severely limited animal catalog is a joke, giving you virtually no variety to build your business around. You're left standing behind the counter for ages while glacially slow customers linger in the shop, all for a progression curve with nothing worth leveling up for. It’s a content-starved endurance test.

Very fun! I play for a while and get mad over how slow people can go, you should really try it!
