This game came out today and I thought "looks fun, let's try it". The base line concept is the same you would expect from the steam page - and I like it. Trying out the different balls was quite some fun. But now onto the section why I don't think I can recommend this game: - The core loop is the same. Always. Same balls, same enemies, same upgrades. There is too low variety. - There is no "high roll". Usually the fun comes from combining different components to get an unfair "OP" strategy to one-shot bosses or similar. In this game, there is not even any strategy or synergies. Some note for the dev: I didn't play for a long time, because it got boring after some time. I beat the game with the base character (didn't get the achievement btw, maybe a bug?) but after that, there is no perspective. It's just "go again". I unlocked the next character which just say "more hp, less speed" or "less hp, more speed". If this is all, this is no incentive to play. I would love to see truly unique abilities. Maybe different sets of balls? About the balls: it needs more variety. After one 5 minute run I have seen them all, understood them all and in the second run just maxed out the chicken ba…

Game is really neat! although, i don't really feel compelled to play more after finishing it once, which is a shame seeing all the work that went to making it : The art, the music, i feel like it's really a good complete experience, but it could definitely use more replayability beyond just different statistics for your character!

I do not agree with another review that stated this game had no variety. It is incredibly fun and addictive and it indeed has variety. Really enjoying it and the designs are super cute! If you liked Ball X Pit, this is a MUST!

Overall a fun cute game. Main progress is though unlocking characters. Replay-ability a bit low without catalog, out of run leveling. or combine options like some similar games. A couple of bug issues need to be resolved. I beat a full run just to have my game crash losing all progress from said run. For the price its worth it.
