PunjiVR: The Vietnam War

I really enjoyed this game, and I still recommend it if you like basic vr shooters and especially if you like Vietnam war games... With that said I do have to state my disappointment that this game most likely wont be finished, especially with the time thats gone by and work thats already been put in, on top of the statements made of content or features that are not to be seen. I put in multiple rounds of testing feedback and even had some of my wants met, and this makes it even more sad to see this games current state, and hear the devs recent posts. I wish they would keep it alive in some way even if that means outsourcing or getting some extra help but im sure that can be very expensive in these times, though I know there are people out there who would take this game in and help revive it With all that being said its still a thumbs up for what it is, but keep in mind this game has been all but abandoned and is mostly proof of concept levels based on certain mechanics rather than fleshed out missions with real depth or any kind of story more than some names and simple objectives...

I like that you can wallbang in this game, which is really rare from other vr shooters i've played; as well as the chance of your gun being jammed. Honestly that's pretty much all the positives. Here's what i don't like about it: -close quater combat is straight up not fun, just one bullet shot at your general direction (not even around the head) is enough to kill you instantly (no bleedout or anything, instant lights out). Paired with the npc's ungody reaction time and their tendancy to hide in corners, and you'll prefer snipers over any other gun -In the rare case you do survive being shot once, the damage vig is so obstructive you might as well shoot yourself since, from what i've observed, it never goes away and there aren't any items to heal up. -Shooting while being somewhere like the stairs leads you to sliding down it, and even a small height different on the ground prevents you from moving since your character can't sidestep through a door frame -Trying to load anything into the small pouch in front of your vest feel clunk since it also takes your hand into account, leading to your magazines social distancing from each other It's expected from a hardcore vietnam game, …

cool game but it's kind of janky and not much content. i recommend it if it's on sale

Punji VR, Is in its current State more of a tech demo than an actual enjoyable game in my opinion. It's like a concept game, an experiment, that doesn't perform 100% on any front / aspect. It's acceptable, but not of any release quality, to be honest. I don't even think that this game will actually out grow it's current state.
