Concept 20 is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This one features minimalist/line "art" and has a number of different game modes, starting out with a marble physics/platformer component, sometimes you control a block, other times you also have a bar that you can move around (your very own platform!). These gimmicks don't go far due to the woefully deficient technical implementation of the game. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games, or primitive games from the 1980's/1990's. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality vector art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. Without any other substantial graphics tweaks, it's not possible for gamers to improve the mediocre 2D visuals. …
