✦ AI summary

Players consistently praise this game's emotional storytelling, excellent voice acting, and well-developed characters that create a meaningful narrative about family and healing. However, reviewers note it's more of a narrative-driven walking simulator than a horror game, with minimal scares and a contemplative pace that won't appeal to those seeking action or thrills. The game excels at character development and world-building through environmental details, making it ideal for players who enjoyed similar story-focused experiences.

Don't play if you have mom issues, or dad issues, or sibling issues. Or maybe you should definitely play it in that case. Beautiful game with high detail and a reasonable amount of interaction. The only thing I felt like I wanted but didn't have was the ability to run - though it's never necessary. All the challenges are mostly emotional rather than mechanical, but it's done really well.

Definitely a good game! Not really a "horror" game in my opinion, as besides a few very minor jump scares, there really isn't anything all that scary in this game (take it from a guy who will readily describe himself as a wuss in regards to anything scary). But the story is more than worthwhile, a very emotional journey about a broken family and healing, as best as one can. Just be prepared for some tearing up from time to time. I would describe the game mostly as a "emotional walking simulator story game". Which is a bit of a mouthful for a genre, but it describes the game well. If you're looking for something that will get your adrenaline pumping, then admittedly, this isn't it. But if you're looking for something with a great story that will keep your interest for the time that it asks of it, then this game will do just that without issue. In short, I wholeheartedly recommend this game!

This game had a great story and the voice acting and writing were awesome. Kind of cool to see a game use emotions and empathy in its puzzle design.

Such a beautiful little game. The voice acting is amazing! I loved the storyline, it kept me hooked through the whole thing. If you like Gone Home, you'll like this game, too.
