The Haunting of Joni Evers

Game just crashed five times in a row, near the end, without any option to save my progress manually -- while failing to autosave after I collected three key items repeatedly. They need to fix all these repeating bugs.

Game stopped working and went black midway through my playthrough. Tried to verify the files and that did nothing. I wouldn't recommend until its fixed.

3/5 - Average It's pretty good for a casual walking simulator. But there is barely any gameplay at all beyond finding the next clickable object, listening to the main character and proceeding to the next scene. However, the story is endearing and the voice acting is good. Just buy it on deep discount because it's 3 hrs long and not worth the full price.

Great story and good voice acting.

Great to have something short that's worth playing, something great to pickup if you liked Gone Home

Do you need a short touching story with spooky undertones? This might be for you. I haven;t played many walking simulators, so my perspective is limited, but overall I enjoyed the game. The story takes a minute to get going, but once things start moving, i.e. other characters come into play, I was excited to see what would happen next. I think the creators did a great job making each character and their connections feel unique and interesting. I hope they will learn and grow from this experience and I look forward to whatever comes next!
