I really enjoyed my time with this game in a way. The puzzles were difficult but fair for the most part. The setting is beautiful and eerie in a very satisfying way. My problem stems from game breaking bugs that lead to the inability to progress. I ran into the same issue multiple times in the hospital. I restarted three separate times and still couldn't progress. I'm willing to rethink my recommendation if bug fixes address these issues but currently we have a beautiful game with questionable voice acting that isn't possible to complete so I'm forced to say no here.

There's a mosaic puzzle in the first 10 minutes of the game that doesn't have a reset button. So, while trying to put the pieces into the right spots I gave up after a few minutes of trying to figure it out. I'm not a huge puzzle fan, and mosaic puzzles are probably my most despised puzzle variety.

Jennifer's Fragments is a somber and introspective first-person adventure developed and published by Studio Gathering Storm, positioning itself firmly within the realm of narrative-driven psychological experiences rather than traditional horror or action games. From its opening moments, the game signals its intent to explore themes of memory, trauma, and emotional fragmentation, inviting players to step into the role of Jennifer, a young woman drawn back into a painful and unresolved past. Rather than relying on overt scares or constant threats, the game builds its identity around atmosphere, ambiguity, and the slow unraveling of deeply personal mysteries. The story unfolds as Jennifer attempts to piece together the remnants of her childhood following a traumatic event that continues to shape her perception of reality. Guided by diary fragments, environmental clues, and fleeting memories, players traverse a series of desolate and unsettling locations that feel suspended between the real and the symbolic. The world is intentionally dreamlike, often blurring the line between physical spaces and psychological constructs, which reinforces the sense that the journey is as much internal…

So, if I could give this game a neutral rating, that’s what I would do. I found the story intriguing, the puzzles a slight challenge but nothing too difficult, the voice acting was awful but funny, and I was enjoying my time exploring. Certain items, like keys, can be difficult to find due to their subtle placement, but once I grasped how the work worked, then it wasn’t a problem. But my biggest issue is I cannot complete the game, unless I restart from the very beginning, and I’m at the chamber (which I believe is at the end). This game really needs multiple save slots, rather than relying on the one automatic saving mechanic. Because of this, I am stuck in the second chamber, while the first chamber is unlocking, so I cannot leave to solve the puzzle and progress. I’m also believe there was an issue with the puzzle in the second chamber, as when I backed out to look around, it wouldn’t let me attempt the puzzle again (I think the game thought I was missing puzzle elements, despite them being loaded onto the puzzle). I hope to come back and complete the game someday, but for now I am a little disappointed I put hours into the game to not complete it. Gameplay: https://www.you…

i paid 1.62 for this game and it's well worth about the price it is originally $6. keep in mind this takes a bunch of already seen games before puts them together to make their own game and the puzzles were not bad, having to find items and exploring i enjoyed. the ai voice isn't bad either. the con is every time you compelet a certain area you do this jump scare and it's just awful, it's annoying not scary. hurts my ears. I know i picked up all the knights but after the church area everything reset in the game. i could pick up certain items i had already picked up for the dining room table and knights i had already picked up were there again. A tip for all would be if you can pick up an item, make sure you rotate it every direction you might trigger something to be picked up.

Game was honestly "ok". Not sure it is worth the full price (I got this through Keymailer). The ending is so sudden and kind of a let down. Great concept of a game though. This developer's next game could be great!
