Having played Metal Gear Solid (MGS), many would say that the next logical step would be to play Metal Gear Solid 2. Soy I played Metal Gear Solid 3 (MGS3). The difference between the games I have mentioned is sustantial, but they keep the core idea, expanding the tools given to the player to complete the game. And damn, how many tools are available. Sometimes I felt like I was in a sort of espionage simulator; the depth of the movement and the different mechanics available to Snake are mindblowing. Just how many options you have to achieve one thing is amazing. Of course, this has a big cost: I always felt the controls a little cumbersome. Like there was a specific sequence of inputs that you have to perform in order to do a seemingly simple thing to do like making a stealth takedown. I feel like this was also the case in MGS, but I think that in MGS3 accentuate this due to the lack of instruction during gameplay, something that the former game is quite explicit about, at the cost of immersion, I guess. Yes, there's the manual and there's the tutorials in the main menu (at least in the Steam version of the game), but, nevertheless, there's nothing like tutorials embedded in the…
