Metal Gear

This is the second title in the METAL GEAR series that establishes the basic mechanics of the series, such as crouching to avoid detection, intentionally attracting enemies by banging on walls, enemies reacting to Snake's footsteps, a radar to detect enemy locations, actions and movements.
It also depicts the motivations behind BIG BOSS' actions, the fate of soldiers with no nation left to fight for, and a complex narrative that has become an iconic characteristic of the series.

I never played any of the Metal Gear games before, but they always seemed intriguing. So here I am starting with the originals, and man they are cool but definitely relics of their time. That golden age where you got a game and you damn well better figure it out because that's the only game you had. There is so much archaic and obtuse stuff in here. It's charming for sure but I'll fully admit to using a guide to get through both. 2 is definitely the better of the games and seems to be showcasing Kojima's love for self referential movie like storytelling. Fully recommend that anyone who wants to have a fuller understanding of the classics and how we got here checks these gems out.1 found this helpful
Metal Gear review: I could not imagine playing this without a guide, you will either die 24/7 or be sent further back into the game which is infuriating. BUT THE SOUNDTRACK ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BANGS HOLYYYYY WHY IS IT SO GAH DAMN GOOD Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake review: I enjoyed this a lot more than Metal Gear. just play MGS instead
Adam akıllı bir iş yapmıyorlar. 30 yıllık oyunu master collection haline getirmişler güzel diyorsun ama değil. Oyun açılmıyor bile. Salak saçma dosyalar indirmeniz gerekiyor. Ayrıca 30 yıllık oyuna 16GB ram ve bu kadar grafik kartı istemek de başka bir saçmalık. Altı üstü bir launcher yapmışsınız oyunun başına ve içine etmişsiniz. Normalde bu oyunu patates ile bile çalıştırmam gerekirdi. Değmez, satın almayın.
These games are part of the reason why guides and video game magazines were necessary. Worst thing about these games were the gas rooms and taking off your gas mask to open doors, other than that it was a nice experience and entry into Metal Gear. (Even though MGS1 briefs you on the events of these games.)
Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaap, yeah both of these are old and stuff so play with a guide.
