Incredible game with actually good twists. Highly recommend
Pretty good RGG game but I had a bit more fun with "The Man Who Erased his Name" The story is uneven and a bit too long, but it keeps things interesting most of the time. I still think they could have shortened a few chapters for better pacing. Judgment falls into the same trap as other Yakuza games, with a lot of back-and-forth between the same locations in a rather small district. It's one of these games that you need to pause and come back to a few days after or it may feel a bit repetitive. Gameplay is really fun and that's the main thing that kept me going, along with the atmosphere However: - Activities are fine for a few tries, but they're not really why I like these games (after a couple of games of darts or arcade games, etc., I'm like "meh, okay" and won't try them again). So not much added value for me there. - The tailing missions are pretty poor and get reaaally old after a few of them. I was rolling my eyes whenever new ones popped up - Side missions are pretty uneventful in this entry, either super short or just "okay," with almost no rewards. - Another complaint is the main character who is your typical stern hero but without any charisma or banter. Luckily th…
Good spin-off of the yakuza series, blends detective drama with excellent combat. Something that I like is that even though you spend all the games in Kamurocho, you probably will learn something new about the city. I recommend it if you already played the Yakuza series, or if you are thinking of starting to play this saga. Excellent choice as a new entry :D There are only flaws regarding the stealth system since it is annoying though.
