This is game is not too bad! I would put it as a :| (okay category) if it as one. This game is more like a patience/punish game! NO HARDCORE COMBOS nor NO DIFFICULT INPUT TO DO!!! If you/opponent makes a mistakes (not patience enough), opposite gets the punish. Also being graphically new, they kill some of the moves (not the finale kill) in the older games that some of the characters should've had (if you do play the older version because I do).
Good game.
Samurai Shodown is one of my favorite fighting game series. These games have their own vibe that make them stand out among other fighting games; clashing weapons, disarming the opponent, catching blades barehanded, and ending the match with a lightning strike move that makes the defeated opponent shower blood like in a samurai movie. This one has a lot to offer with a story mode, time trials, survival mode, gauntlet, and fighting against "ghosts." It has a nice tutorial and training mode as well.
Very good but very dead. Buy if you have friends to play with lol.
