Upgrade your headquarters with additional modules to produce more advanced weapons and enhancements, develop new ships leading up to the station-size Proxima, unlock new structures and activate various bonuses that influence all of your territory. You are the leader of your people and a powerful leader deserves a stronghold.

Territory can be fortified and improved by building various resource and defense structures. Expand the T-Gate network to make your fleets travel across your ever-growing empire faster. Played this for a while as i was doing a story run on previous Gemini 2 game at the same time. After a while of digging around both playing and trying to figure out the differences and i came to the conclusion this is 'Mount and Blade in space'. If that phrase is a buy for you, go ahead. The rest forget it. The previous Gemini 2 is grindy game with ok story. Now this game with same roots steers it towards a more useful direction that the fans wanted: Having your own faction and fleets, essentially allowing you to have a proper end game that goes on for a long time. The result? Game play changes fundamentally. Yet the grind is still there but the freedoms are bigger. Check it out if you can stomach this kind of massive scope. I shelved this one actually once i realized this game is competing directly with my older X3 Terran Conflict save. Yes yes 'different game' and all that jazz but then no. The massive fleets, resources, factories, grinding etc. It's too similar what i got going on in X3 at the end game empire stage there. There just isn't enough time in the world for more. But i wont give a negative either here for that but i will opt for a 'Go check it out' positive rec…7 found this helpful
Little lovely game. Though i have not finiahed main campaign yet. I would recomend it on sale only. It is decent space game where you can conquer territory in space and stations and so on. But there is a lot of stuff that feels just half baked. But also a lot of stuff what is fun. For me most annoying were that your ship would only fire at single target even though some of the weapons were just idle because they are at your rear side. And i really wanted to play carrier but as far as i can tell they seem just underwhelming. I did not feel much of a difference when i launched my fighters. Dps wise. Though carriers are prity sturdy. There probably is more i could go on but over all decent space game with building your empire so the vision is awesome just not enough. I really hope they will make sequal to Warlords since the other Starpoint gemini titles are nothing close to this.3 found this helpful
