Great tactical battle game but it really needs more diplomacy and court features.
Might not have given it enough time, but 5 hours in and just roaming the map looking for battles I actually have a chance at winning is lame AF. Combat seems 20 years old too.
How do you f*ck up a game with every update? How do you destroy a game’s potential? How do you manage to leave out nearly all the features it should have? How does a development studio show no respect for or even care about its player base? How do you develop a game as slowly and poorly as possible? How do you release a game that’s completely flawed and utterly lacking? How do you destroy a brand? You’ll find the answers to all these questions in Bannerlord. You can buy it right now to experience immediate disappointment and witness its squandered potential.
Nothing out there like it. It's got its issues, but thats par for the course with something so expansive. Huge modding community. I'm just coming back after a year or two hiatus. Happy to see they are still adding content and QOL. Better than the majority of triple A studios and only half the size, TAKE NOTES UBISOFT, etc (other Triple A studios).
