I liked how simple the mechanics were, especially as someone who plays fighting games casually. There aren't complicated combos like in Street Fighter or Tekken, which made the game easy to pick up. Unfortunately, the controls felt a little stiff, which took away from the experience. The character variety was good, although I was only familiar with Mai and Terry beforehand. The excessive fan service was also a bit much for my taste, and I found it strange that the more normal outfits weren't the default options. The story was very weak. I was under the impression that Kukri was a fighter and villain from another SNK game, so because I wasn't familiar with him, I didn't really understand why the story was happening in the first place or what his motivation was. The visuals were fine, while the music was decent but somewhat repetitive. I also have very little reason to return to the game. I unlocked most of the single-player achievements in under five hours, while the online community is essentially dead…

Definitely recommend to SNK fighting game fans. Athena is the best waifu in the world <3

Unironically a really fun fighting/party game

it's really funny because yeah the game is stupid simple but like, it's also surprisingly fun??? The way moves work with each other is not that bad and it's great fun with friends if you catch it on a sale.

This game isn't bad. It's very easy and it doesn't have much depth. It's especially good for girls and little kids. It's really fun to just pick and play once in a while, you don't really have to learn much and button mashing is totally viable, but it has a lot of fun flair> I will buy anything with Mai Shiranui in it.
