The two warring nations from the Neptunia and SENRAN KAGURA series have now joined forces in one action-packed RPG! Choose from 10 possible characters, including two new characters: Yuuki and Goh, and pick two characters to set forth on your adventure. Swiftly switch between your two chosen characters in battle! This version also includes a new difficulty setting option!

Each character possess a unique set of skills, known as Ninja Art Skills. Chain your Ninja Art Skills to leave your enemies in the dust. Ninjas and shinobi are also equipped with projectiles that can inflict physical damage or temporary status ailments to slow down foes.

Combat was not fun to play and fan service was tone down compare to original Senran Kagura games.7 found this helpful
Combat is just bad. Everything you do is really stiff. Lock on constantly breaks and for some reason they decided that switching between targets is on the dpad. Nothing is cancelable so if you use a special attack at the wrong time you just eat mad ♥♥♥♥. Blocking or dodging doesn't feel satisfying or smooth.4 found this helpful
This is more of a mixed review. Its not a bad or boring game by any standards, but not worth the $50 price tag. This is a blend of half visual novel, half hack and slash. While it is playable with keyboard, it is not optimal or really optimized at all. You will have an easier time with a controller. The basics is you go into a battle, you got items, skills and ultimate abiltities. You clear room by room or area by area, then fight boss, return to base to upgrade with equipments, gems, etc. The main selling point is the characters/visual, not much the gameplay. I hate to said it but that's a bit generic and sometime your character, after a combat like to stand still for a bit and not dodge the enemy.1 found this helpful
Coming from Neptunia, not Senran Kagura myself. The only SK game I ever played was Burst on the 3DS. That being said I enjoyed Ninja Wars. Having played all of it on Steam Deck I have no complaints about the performance or the control scheme, it ran and worked fine out if the box without changing any settings. Story was not very interesting and the cutscenes were too long at times. For such a simple narrative I feel like reading 5 minutes, at times more, of dialogue is not necessary. Neptune's meta commentary was especially annoying but I don't hold it against this game because this is a complaint I have about her in general. Now... Gameplay. It's a bit simple but fun enough. I finished the game, 100% doesn't seem to be too much of an ask in terms of extra time to put in but as of now I'm done. I would not recommend the game if it were longer either; it doesn't overstay it's welcome. Do pick it up on sale though. The normal price is way too high for what it is.
Good neptunia game but a bit short of content.
Neptunia Senran Impact: Elden Dogoo If you played any Neptunia games before except the same high quality ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ storytelling with a less lewd but detailed Senran Kagura style combat
