Grand Ages: Rome

The game is great, a staple of my childhood. Recently it stopped launching. Trying to figure out why, I uninstalled the Reign of Augustus expansion and it launched fine. The moment I install again the dlc it just won't work. I've tried everything, and i've found out that plugging my laptop to a tv via hdmi makes it work. I hope they fix this issue.

the game system wants serial number but i can't get the serial number ,,how can i get it can any one say me please ?

I will play this game for a good 100+ hours, or more. But I do have to say early on that this game is messed up. I don't have the best PC but mine can still run some pretty heavy games at very high or ultra settings, this game should give my pc 0% trouble for sure. - The game crashes on a regular basis - Placing a road can cause the game to freeze, and crash. - Trying to save the game can result in a game crash - ALT + Tab can result in either the following 2 options. A: Your buildings will go invisible and FPS will drop to negative. B: Your buildings come back to how it's supposed to be and you regain your FPS. - Autosave takes too long for it to occur, and it's the safer method comparing to manually saving your game which can often lead to the game crashing. Now those are what I have experienced in roughly 11 hours of playtime. Besides that, it's an old game. Mechanics are clunky and kinda bad, building roads for example is a pain. No moving things around, no refunds on destruction. Speaking of destruction, there seems to be no popularity gain when you construct certain things, but. When you remove them because you don't like the placement for example, then you will lose 5…

Beuitifully designed and this types of basic but elegant games does not come anymore

Brings me back to the time I got the physical copy from OfficeMax.

This game reminds me a lot of CivCity Rome, I love the graphics too. Mostly building a functioning city with the mix of combat too. Really like that they added naval warfare boats that can transport troops to seperate islands on the map so you can get to resources like mines. Definitely recommend to anyone like a city builder simulator with a roman theme.
