As someone who first played this game back around when it first publicly released in 2017, I already knew the game had lots of potential. However, then, it just felt like only a glorified reskin of PAYDAY: The Heist. Not very long afterwards, the developers blatantly abandoned RAID: World War II despite its underdeveloped state and moved on to more ambitious projects. Fortunately, in more recent years, this game was revived by the small, but passionate community. Now, this game has new, unique player abilities and a reworked progress system, along with brand new RAID missions. I'm very thankful to those who gave their efforts towards giving this game a second chance. :)

Competent co op shooter similar to Payday. Another great nazi killing fest. I just took too long to play it.

This is a coop game similar to Payday 2, but with a different feel due to the fact that it was [i]♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dropped immediately by the devs.[/i] If you want to get some Payday 2 action, with more of a search and destroy theme on the jobs, this game is for you. If you want a polished experience, lol nope go away you won't get that here. This glitch filled set of lobbies will entertain you, as well as frustrate you to no end. Laggy randoms with mic spam, BS special enemy spawns, that one enemy who spawns out of nowhere and ruins a stealth run, small ammunition pools, inflated fall damage. [u]You'll go down frequently.[/u] However, you want the [b]GOLD[/b] and the Nazi scum has it! So get a crew and go get it! Ok so it exists. I barely have any time in this game as of writing and I’ve done most of the raids on hard, it fun and is just what If we put Payday 2 into WWII. This game is definitely not for everyone but I like it as a Payday prequel since they are in the same universe. It’s worth it for the Nebula rewards you can claim in Payday 2 anyway. The mechanics have bits of Payday 3 in them but if it had all the glorious diesel engine jank. The weapons feel incredible as always in a diesel engine project for the studio and it’s just a fun time. The characters are funny especially the ending scenes with hitler. The raids are more linear but can be done stealth and loud. Lock picking is improved from Payday 2 here. And the maps look visually good. The enemies like the flamer are fun to fight as they are difficulty. It adds that difficulty of Payday The Heist that Payday 2 is missing back into the universe. And the difficulty makes it addictive. 7/10. Very fun game but once you have done 5 or 6 of the Raids (Heists) you’ve pretty much done them all. I do recommend this game though and if you liked the Payday games you will most likely find out that this scratches that same itch.

Its pretty good, feels like a big PAYDAY 2 spin-off / DLC. If you get it in sale and with friends its a great deal.
