Men of War II

The whole "MEN OF WAR" franchise does find an end with this one. Especially with the fact that it has to be the "always online" mentality today. You will get thrown into the multplayer tab right from the start, even if you do not want to play multiplay in any way! Sound effects are just so dull and even the color scheme is bad cause oversaturation. Go and play GATES OF HELL instead. Might be a buggy mess but you'll see and hear the difference! Especially the FACT to read "CONNECTING TO THE SERVER" just when starting the game! WHAT AN AUDACITY! The best thing about MEN OF WAR 2 is the MUSIC SCORE! This is top notch and you even want to hear those tracks again and again. Another plus is the great detail of soldiers, vehicles and the world in general. The told stories about the war and the remembrance are a thing to feel to.

Very badly organized. Should never use storage in c:\users\username. This should be decided by the user. Same with mods.... storage location should not be in c:\users..... Modes are very hard to work with. Stucture of the game has change & it has become difficult to work with. As a result, I very seldom play it. Wish I had not purchased it.

just doesnt have the realistic gritty feel of the first. but im still having fun with the tons of pve options and some conquest/grand strategy on a small scale

A very nice game. Good graphics, nice choice of game modes, a very huge number of unit types, and very good maps. the only one minus is - that there are only 3 nations in the game. everything else is perfect so 9 of 10
