Werewolf: The Apocalypse - Earthblood

i dont know why the reviews are bad, the game is good if you pay attention to the details. overal GOOD GAME! 10/10. however the new rageborn seems boring just by the videos shown. i dont plan on buying that due to the screen camera layout and the style. not that the style of the game of werewolf is wrong, it reminds me of the old school classic style which isnt my cup of tea. kinda like how the old gta games played the first few. i cant remember which one, but one sorta has the same camera setup. i prefer to be able to zoom in on my character like in the first werewolf, werewolf the apocalypse. the camera setup on that game is what im comparing to rageborn based on the vids.

I love the idea of fighting for the Earth and healing the environment as a werewolf. It is a GREAT premise and I can't deny some aspects of the game show passion for this premise. I love werewolves and I should, theoretically, be the target audience for this game. The longer I play, however, the worse the story, gameplay and voice acting seem to get. I was having fun in the beginning. Both the stealth and the action parts of the game are reasonably enjoyable, even though I was surprised how much stealth mechanics take up of a game about being a beast, an agent of Gaia, that finds power in rage. The characters are bland, but the ones that shine do not let you get attached to them as the story beats progress way too fast and with confusing directions. I personally believe that the initial fight for the Earth should have stayed the focus of the game, and the more grounded elements balanced the aspects of the WoD well. I would have liked to learn more about the lore, the different packs, the culture and the worldbuilding, instead I got random new enemy types thrown at me and "your princess is in another castle". FUN GAME I DONT REMEMBER I HAVE PLAY WITH WEREWOLF BEFORE......THE GAME IS SMOOTH ALMOST ALL THE TIME BUT THERE WAS LITTLE LAG AND DROP FRAME HERE AND THERE BUT IN SOME SPIECIFIC LOCATION AND ACTION BUT YOU WILL FORGET ABOUT THAT

Its a super simple somewhat short game, stealth is alright and its not mandatory (which is good for a game where you play as a werewolf) combat feels very satisfying but its nothing crazy, however, as far as im aware there's no similar werewolf game out there. Graphics are i guess good but nothing crazy, same goes for the animations, they feel almost janky at times (except for combat/werewolf animations) which is the important part of the game for me and you can even do the roar. 10/10 would do the roar again

I think this game gets too much criticism. Do other games have better action or stealth? I don't know and don't care. Those other games don't have you transforming into an eco-terrorist wolf-monster, do they? If you like werewolves a lot, I highly recommend it. Great animations, interesting world, fun soundtrack. But above all else, Earthblood brought me something new that I haven't found anywhere else.
