Can't get this game to work on a Laptop with Windows 11 or a Windows 10 PC, after the Atari logo animation it goes to a loading screen I can see the mouse cursor then it just crashes to an error screen. No compatibility settings work.1 found this helpful
all ways liked this game I'm old school this is a proper RTS game and the graphic's are still great.
I never got to experience this game growing up but I did grow up with C&C generals so I feel right at home. I decided to scoop up the entire franchise, both AOW's, and Act of Aggression they didn't disappoint at all. There are somethings this franchise does better than C&C. Definitely recommend checking them out!

Game's a lot of fun. Unfortunately, it's also 21 years old (as of this review) and very broken in this day and age. There are a lot of issues, especially with multiplayer, and even more with High Treason. They did release an update at some point that addressed a few things but it's still very rocky. I would not expect a fix for these issues, ever. However, it's also dirt cheap even not on sale, and goes on sale for even cheaper. So you're not out much. That's why I'll rate this up. This is worth it for those who played it back in the day, want the nostalgia, and doesn't mind spending some time trying to get things working. For newer players or any that didn't play it before, I would look for a game that's less... broken.
