Nice game, but nothing ground-breaking. A bit too grindy to my taste, and missing quite a few QoL : - Chests in cities don't share the same inventory - Sometimes, you can't dodge while attacking - Only 4 quick slots, forcing you to alternate between tools and consumables - Can't track quests or recipes on UI to keep an eye on requirements progression - No pause while consulting the map, the inventory or the teleporters - Character is quite slow and you can't run faster - Can't quickly get out of dungeons so you have to go all the way back - Teleporters sometimes a bit far from quest givers so you're forced to go through some regions again and again even though you're just passing by It makes the whole experience a bit frustrating and slow. Story doesn't seem original or interesting enough to make me want to power through those flaws. Wish devs would give more time and love to this game instead of making 26 DLC and creating a sequel. They're very close of a very nice game.

Only a few hours of gameplay settled the fact that this game is a heart stealer. The art style is adorable, the characters are even cuter. I always enjoyed a cozy game where you can also let some of the tension loose though combat. The only thing I found a bit finicky, so far, is the axial combat turning, yet throwing random jabs into thin air brought a giggle, every time, to me n my duo. Doubt this opinion will change as play time goes up in the counter - better yet I think the feedback will become even more positive. Eagerly waiting for the release of the 2nd game.

The story is quite okay. I'm not too invested in. but the biggest problem of this game comes with how many ressources you need to do anything. Thankfully main quest items are a maximum to 10 so far so it's not too bad. But when it comes to upgrading weapoons or armor. it cost a ridiculous number of item for it Like for the first armor it okay you just need 10 wood. but you don't get your axe until day 5 and they tell you it's next to a shed that dosen't exit. it's just the only chest that is in your farm. Wood is hard to come buy. i haven't got enough wood for my FIRST armor until day 10. (bad farm spawns and no tree spawning in the city(Those are your only options)) i was fighting ennemies in the swamp dealing 40 dmg to me when that was my max hp. Then you need to get some extra chest. now you need 50 wood. Which is crazy considering you get like 5 wood every 2 days. Then you need to upgrade your weapons. Which you need to grind golems that heal for 100 hp every 2 seconds (they can't target themselves but they herd around eachothers) and you deal like 16 dmg with your sword. you need to burst them down with ALL your spellls One pet peeve i have in this game is the targeting syste…

Skip this one if you want to 100% the achievements. There are several ones that are easy to fail, especially the "complete all side quests" one. Missed one of them? Start over. In a game that takes 20+ hours to complete... I also somehow lost one of the items that has an achievement for upgrading it. I probably dropped it by accident and it despawned. Also, combat felt less than stellar. The game has never heard of iframes and loves to have enemies stun-lock you to death. Enemies can one-shot you from outside the screen before you have seen them. Your auto-aim sometimes gets stuck on empty air. I have to admit I am not good at this style of combat in a computer game, so at least it was good training. The storage chests scattered around the map would have been a lot more useful if they had been access points to a single storage space. Equipping the helmets and back accessories makes your hero look ugly. The time-gating keeps getting in the way. Be it unavailable NPCs or having to remember to water the farm every day. Everything above is just nit-picks, but I somehow did not have a good time with this game, never warmed up to it. So it gets a thumbs-down.

I love the character design of the game and the art style. It is an amazing chill game that you can play on your steamdeck.
