This game is very endearing for avid Lego fans especially IRL Lego construction. Though it is at its core a puzzle game where you have to solve problems in shapes of obstacles or even plain marvelous figures to satisfy the story. I always dream of modern rendition of Lego Creator, aside from Lego Worlds and Lego Fortnite, this game proves that we desperately need another sandboxed build-your-own constructs or maybe take another steps further and let Lego games explore other concurrent gaming genre such as rouge-like, souls-like, or even survival horror with Lego twist, i'd say that'll make Lego as a brand in video game industry even more popular across different gaming genres. That being said, i can't fully recommend this game for gamers that new to anything Lego let alone puzzle game cause this game will test your patience in many of its building stage and restrict your creativity to cater to devs constraint and make you question what's the point of building your unique design but it got denied by space limitation. Nonetheless for those Lego fans out there ya'll have to play this game at once especially when it went on sale cause it'll ease your pain for not being able to buy Lego…

Bought on a discount, looked like a fun lego game where you can actually build with legos on your screen instead of having to empty your wallets at a local lego store. It is fun; the puzzles are pretty simple so nothing to worry about difficulty wise. I haven't finished it yet but so far my favorite part of the game has been the desert area. There's building but you have to unlock bricks as you go along and there isn't any SNOT building yet so it's not a lego building sim (not sure if one of those exists on steam but I would play it if it did -- please let me know). It's not a life-changing, earth shattering game, but it's cute and I think kids and people who miss playing with physical legos will like it.

not very engaging. the building mechanics/ui are good and work well, but i dislike having to start out with a limited color & brick palette, it feels like it's in between two game modes when i either want A) full sandbox, or B) full build guide. also the grandfather character is extremely unlikable, and the walking animation is poorly done.

A beautifully charming puzzle game that focuses on the literal joy of building, rather than just exploring. ## The Good * Genuine Building: You must construct structures brick-by-brick to solve puzzles. * Physics engine: Bridges must actually hold weight, forcing clever designs. * Diorama worlds: The individual levels look like breathtaking, living Lego models. * Relaxing atmosphere: The music and lack of timers create great zen vibes. * Clever writing: The story and dialogue are genuinely witty and charming. ## The Bad * Strict parts: Limited block choices on tough puzzles can feel restrictive. * Controls: Placing tiny single studs can occasionally feel a bit fiddly. ## The Verdict The closest a video game has ever come to replicating the actual puzzle-solving feeling of a real Lego instruction booklet. It is a gorgeous, brain-teasing treat. 9/10, spent an hour making a bridge look pretty just for it to collapse immediately.
