Luna's Fishing Garden

A simple an adorable little game that'll run you about 2-3 hours at most. Honestly the only annoying thing is the grind for certain goal resources but that's trivialised by devoting an island to capybara watermelon autoharvesting. I ended with like 80K currency. It's a cute and simple game, the characters are fun, the designs are interesting, and while it's not overly deep in any way this is a nice palette cleanser.

Enjoyed his a lot more than I expected. Very relaxing, very simple, great art and soundtrack - a perfect single-sitting game to finish in about 3 hours, maybe 4 if you take your time.

The game can be considered short, but I like that the length is just enough, and I would probably feel bored if it's longer. It's a relaxing game with a harmonious atmosphere where you can catch fish and plant new trees on the islands. The pixel art is fascinating, and the main character, Cassie, is very cute. What I love the most is the idea of having capybaras helping to gather resources from the water (e.g., pearls, watermelons, and lotus seeds). The fishing mechanism can be slightly tedious, and some may find that they need some time in learning how to control the fishing line. I wish Sam the Fish would provide extra details on how to travel via balloons. Also, I understand the frustrations of others regarding the "Hide and Seek" achievement because once you miss it, you need to replay the game. Luckily, I only have to spend an extra half an hour to see Poppy before Poppy emerges from the cave. If your intention is to enjoy the game without referring to the guide beforehand, you probably only realise that you have to replay it after finishing the game just for a missable achievement.

Absolutely love this game. Wish it was longer.

Very sweet and satisfying game! I played this during a really busy week when I just wanted to chill and help some spirits and fish and it was great for that. Very much worth your time!

A relaxing bite-sized fishing and resource collecting game that can be completed in an afternoon. Completing simple quests and getting to clean up the archipelago was satisfying. This was a good Steam Deck play.
