I'm not installing a freaking Kalipso launcher when I have the game in Steam. I didn't install 2K games launcher to play the masterpiece of XCOM 2 I won't certainly install this. Seriously it seems many gaming companies are trying to push gamers into finding alternatives.

Wanted to give this game a positive review but with BIG caveat, if you're looking for something similar to Commandos, Desperados or Shadow Tactics you may be disappointed. While a lot of the mechanics are very similar to the more well known strategic stealth games the level design here is very different giving a totally different tone. Enough so if you love those game I could see you not enjoying this. Other games in genre present you with a big open sandbox full of challenges and character driven tools to figure out your own path to solve them. Crookz is designed much more like a puzzle game. The levels may look open, but once you start unpicking which switches you need to hit the unlock doors, disable camera and sensors you'll realise there's often only 1 or 2 stealthy routes through the level. So solving a level is less about creative and clutch solutions, and more about solving what the designer wanted you to do. The most satisfying way I've found to play the game is to sit and work out the order of things you need to do to solve a big chunk (if not all) of the level and queue up all the waypoints with pauses on all three characters and then just run your solution all at…

Crookz - The Big Heist delivers a distinctive blend of tactical strategy, stealth, and heist planning wrapped in the colorful style of the 1970s. Developed by Skilltree Studios and published by Kalypso Media Digital, the game puts considerably more emphasis on preparation and coordination than direct confrontation. Instead of controlling a master thief through conventional action gameplay, the player manages a crew of specialists, studies security arrangements, and constructs carefully timed plans for stealing valuable targets without attracting unwanted attention. The premise captures the spirit of a classic crime caper. A successful group of professional thieves lives comfortably from increasingly ambitious robberies until an operation involving the valuable Luna Stone ends in betrayal. Years later, the surviving members reunite with revenge on their minds, although the opportunity to become extremely wealthy again is naturally part of the attraction. The story is intentionally playful rather than grim, fitting comfortably alongside the funky soundtrack, bright environments, extravagant fashion, and larger-than-life criminal personalities. Its campaign consists of 18 extensive …

The most underrated game by far. Always wandered why it wasn't much more popular. Much better than majority of stealth games, with some original mechanic on its own. There is no dull level in it. Plus the charm. And it have free demo. This game have everything.
