It has a really interesting mechanics that is worth experiencing, but it is rough around the edges.

It's not a BAD game. It's just not a GOOD game either? It's a pretty game with an interesting mechanic. Reasons for the thumbs down: -For whatever reason, certain sound effects do NOT adjust when you turn the game volume down, making it loud as hell -The mechanic is interesting but you don't do many interesting things with it, or get many upgrades. For a game about exploration, I expected a bit more. -it would have been better for the NPCs to speak when hitting an interact button instead of them speaking automatically. The automatic dialogue made it feel like what they were saying was unimportant, and seeing repeat dialogue every time I passed got somewhat annoying. Good points The game is functional, pretty, and has nice music. I'd give it a 5/10.

👎 Buggy. The game writes the save games to the Windows Registry.

The game isn’t terrible, but it’s far from great. It feels like it’s missing a lot of things that could have made it more enjoyable. The story is weak and not very engaging and the ending was alright. The puzzles are pretty average, and the gameplay mechanics are honestly quite bad. One major issue is that the platinum trophy is currently unobtainable due to a bug with the “Collect ‘em All” achievement. In some levels, it’s impossible to gather all the powercells. That said, the game does have some positives. The art style is great and really stands out, and the soundtrack is excellent, adding a lot to the overall atmosphere. Overall, it’s not a very good game, and I wouldn’t recommend it 4/10.

PONCHO is a pretty cool game for what it is and kinda relaxing as well, great puzzles, great special effects, a nice catchy soundtrack, amazing pixel art, interesting story as well and unique for how its told. if you like relaxing, puzzling 2D side scrollers then this is a game i highly recommend grabbing a copy, also dont let the bad reviews effect your judgement on this game, i honestly dont see what the issue is. i wouldnt change a thing about PONCHO
