Shadows Peak

I brought this one for the full moon emoticon. I wish it came in other shapes and or colors like pink and purple. The other emoticons are mostly spooky season themed and less girlie then the others I recommended. Save this one for a dark stormy night (on sale). I thoroughly enjoyed exploring and it would be better as a duo/co-op especially during the open world part. I would have loved if it changed between night/day with a need for flashlights. Still a lot of mystery with so many places to wander with even with a twist in the mix. The atmosphere is eerily even a little thunder and lightning (wish there was more). For so many reasons, I love they added the lighthouse (surprisingly it is not one of the badges). The jumpscare worked the first time, but as the sound and appearance was the same every time it quickly turned a nuisance to deal with while trying to progress in the game. Mr. X but in 'ghost form'. There was a part I knew there would be a jumpscare and I jumped anyway I agree with the reviews about the direction they went with the horror story and did not care to finish. Depending on your interests you may enjoy their take on it.

This game surprised me with how good it is. First part of the game is really well done and even if second part is kinda meh, I would still recommend this game. Although you probably should get it for a discount and not full price.

This game is way better than I have ever expected. After playing Gynophobia, which looked like a game demo to me, this game is a game at least. The game is about 2 to 3 hours and has relaxing gameplay. Only one jump scare got me. In my opinion, it is not a survival-horror game where the player has to count every shot or outrun enemies. It is an atmospheric walking sim with some enemies and two bosses in it. Also, no puzzles or a chasing enemy that really challenges the player. The game has two parts, one on an island and another in the woods. On the island it is exploring and finding the needed items to proceed with the story and avoiding the enemies. No weapons here. In the woods part the player has a weapon. Gunplay is just that the player has something to do when walking the area. Gunplay is very basic. Visuals are not that great. It looks like Amnesia. Also, some parts are inspired by Amnesia: The Dark Descent. A story is there, and at least the ending completed it. Do not expect something magnificent, but it is logical within the game world. I cannot pinpoint what exactly I liked about the game, but I would buy it again on sale. @dev: I liked the end credits soundtrack a lot.…

A bit janky but I only paid £1.79 for it when on sale and I got about £0.50p back from selling the trading cards I got.
